Animal nursery wall hanging

A really beautiful addition to a child's room this wall hanging has been made with love by hand in the Valley of Kashmir.
 
Exclusive to Juniper Lane in Ireland the background is first made from wool. Next the wool thread is dyed by hand using chemical free plant based dyes in small batches. The animals are drawn lightly onto the wool backing and the artisans then embroider by hand the motifs with colourful thread. It is then washed and dried. Many many hours of work ensure that no two pieces are ever the same making this a wonderful gift. Each one is totally unique.
